About SWYM

SWYM is one of the fastest-growing companies in adtech, redefining how programmatic media is bought and optimized. In less than three years we have expanded globally and now work with more than 50 agencies and 200 brands using our technology to improve media performance and efficiency.

At the center of that growth is SupplyControl, SWYM's AI-native curation and decisioning technology. SupplyControl shapes programmatic supply before the auction, using live performance, quality and supply-path signals to determine which inventory is most likely to drive better outcomes. The result is stronger performance and a simpler, more efficient supply chain.

The industry has recognized the momentum: Best Industry Startup at the 2024 AdExchanger Awards, Best Overall Use of Programmatic in a Marketing Campaign at the 2025 AdExchanger Awards, and in 2026, Best Ad-Tech Innovation in Commerce Media at The Drum Awards, AdExchanger's AI Innovator and Maximizing Impact for the Open Web awards, and a place on Adweek's AI Power 50.

We are scaling quickly across clients, products and markets, and we are still early in that journey. Joining now means helping shape how we work and how we grow.

The role

SWYM's technology gives our clients an edge, and the account team's job is to turn that into results. This role exists to make them sharper. You are the technical expert across the client base, working alongside account managers and Sales from the first requirements conversation, through implementation, into live performance, and into the reviews where clients decide what SWYM is worth to them.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who is genuinely technical about programmatic and comfortable in front of clients. You work closely with account managers, Sales and Ops, and you will have real influence on how this function is built as it grows.

What you'll own

Requirements and implementation
  • Work with account managers and Sales from the first requirements conversation. Understand what the client is actually trying to achieve, not just what they asked for, and translate it into the right setup.
  • Give the technical guidance that gets implementation right: how deals and packages should be structured, what the configuration should be, and what will not work in practice.
  • Be plain about the gaps. When what a client wants and what the platform does are not the same thing, say so early and bring the alternative with you.
Performance and troubleshooting
  • Sit between account management and Ops on live performance. Know how campaigns are tracking and why, so the answer exists before anyone asks for it.
  • Diagnose performance gaps properly. Find the actual cause rather than the obvious one, decide what should change, and drive it through with Ops.
  • Find the improvements nobody asked for in pacing, inventory, configuration and targeting.
  • Own technical escalations end to end. When the account team cannot resolve something, it becomes yours, and you stay with it until the answer lands with the client.
Client reviews
  • Partner with account managers on review preparation: pull the data, do the diagnosis, and shape what the numbers mean before anyone builds a slide.
  • Be in the reviews as the deep expert. Explain the mechanics clearly, handle the technical question in the room rather than taking it away, and make the case for what should change next.
  • Hold the technical credibility of the relationship. When a client wants to know why something behaved the way it did, you are the person who can answer and be believed.
Making the team sharper
  • Own best practice: the right setup, the right configuration and the sharpest way to run a given use case, written down so the team can use it.
  • Bring account managers and Sales up the curve rather than becoming the single point of dependency.
  • Flag platform, tooling and data gaps to our product and data teams with a clear read on client impact, and stay with it through the fix.

What you bring

Required
  • Influence without authority. You can get a client or a colleague to change what they are doing, make the case with evidence, and hold it when you are pushed back on. This is what the role runs on and we will ask you for examples.
  • Presence in a client conversation. You are comfortable in a review, you can explain something technical to someone who does not want a technical answer, and you can handle the question you did not prepare for.
  • Deep programmatic fluency. You can explain how a DSP buys, how an SSP sells, what PMPs and deal IDs are, how curation and supply path optimization change what a buyer actually reaches, and why supply quality moves outcomes.
  • Hands-on platform depth. Real trading or campaign management experience on at least one major DSP such as The Trade Desk, DV360 or Amazon DSP, including the parts that usually go wrong.
  • A diagnostic instinct. Give you a campaign that is not working and you will find the actual cause rather than the first plausible one, and know what to do about it.
  • Four or more years in digital media, with at least three in programmatic, at an agency trading desk, a DSP, an SSP, a curation platform or an ad tech vendor.
  • Structure and follow-through. Records current, commitments tracked, nothing dropped between a conversation and the follow-up.
  • Based in London, and willing to travel to support account teams and clients.
Nice to have
  • Experience at an SSP, a sell-side curation platform or a supply-side business.
  • Solutions engineering, sales engineering or technical account management experience.
  • A track record of building automation or tooling to speed up reporting, QA or analysis.

How we work

  • Small team, real ownership. Your work is visible to the people running the company within a week of doing it.
  • Informal and low on hierarchy. Everyone's perspective is worth hearing, and the best idea wins regardless of who raised it or how long they have been here.
  • Move quickly, build to last. We work at pace, and we design what we build to scale, because the processes and tooling we create now are what this function will run on as it grows.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus a performance-based variable component, reviewed annually. We will share the specific range for this role early in the process.
